Campaign Loves...Barber Osgerby LDF14

The recent installation at the V&A, part of London Design Festival reflects a series
of paintings in the Raphael Gallery on two suspended, rotating mirrored structures.
The installation will remain until the 24th October and is definitely worth checking out!

Campaign Loves...Headwear for dolls

We have been experimenting with new materials and came across 'Coolmorph', plastic granules
that can be heated in warm water and easily formed into a range of transparent shapes.
We added this to a doll that we created on our 3D printer, creating a look that would rival Margiela.

Selfridges have teamed up with designer Rick Owens to create a series of
brand experiences within the flagship store on Oxford Street.

The installation features a concept boutique for both men and women as well as four of
Selfridges iconic windows, with the design inspired by Richard Strauss' opera 'Salome'.

The concept boutique within Selfridges Wonder Room will be curated with books, art and furniture
in the designers signature style and will sell a twenty piece limited edition collection.

Definitely worth battling the crowds on Oxford Street- Open until October 24th.

Visit to the Barbican...

Last week we bit the bullet and joined the crowds at
The Barbican to see 'Digital Revolution'.

More and more our clients want to integrate digital technology into physical space,
so the visit to 'Digital Revolution' has opened our eyes to the multiple opportunities
available to us designers that go beyond a simple screen or iPad.

Overall the exhibition was a great immersive and multi sensory experience
but here are a few things that stuck out for us.

'Assemblance' by Umbrellium

Atmospheric 3D interactive lasers

'Wishing Wall' by Vavara & Mars
Speak your thought and watch watch them turn into digital butterflies

'Dronestagram' by James Bridle

Artistic projection using Google Earth to document American combat zones

The digital movement is here to stay- so we recommend you check out
this exhibition before it ends this weekend!

Mini-Mart on Mount Street

Luxury British Accessories designer Anya Hindmarch
has opened a pop up shop on London's Mount Street.

ANYA HINDMARCH MINI-MART, 99 MOUNT ST, LONDON

The spaces take influence from the designers Autumn/ Winter 2014 collection 'Mini-Mart',
which sees everyday objects transformed into luxury leather goods.

The collection uses iconic graphics from the likes of Frosties, Cornflakes, Daz, and Ariel
to inspire a range of box clutches, tote bags and document wallets.

The temporary interior plays with the commercial nature of the product and features
bold graphics, colour block rack shelving, neon highlights and checker board floor.

DAZ GEORGIANA CLUTCH

CORNFLAKES MAXI EBURY TOTE

If the product alone doesn't persuade you to visit, we should mention that they are
serving 99p ice-creams through the duration of summer!

The designer was not alone in channeling the branding trend, both Chanel and Moschino's
Autumn/ Winter 2014 shows referenced everyday recognisable imagery.
Maybe this will inspire us to do more with out empty cereal boxes in future!

who has designed a self assembly side table consisting of only nine basic components.

The 'Tension' table is one of many exciting projects by Charles who we reckon is one to watch!

RCA Graduate Show 2014

The RCA graduate show on at Battersea is showcasing new artists, designers and makers for another week and well worth a visit....

One of our designers Kirsty went along and saw Sculptor Alida Sayer who's created 'Bound I, II and III’, made with bronze, paper and ceramic and ‘Passage' from plaster and Quink ink; this a favourite as the Quink ink reacts to the room temperature and develops as it drys.

Also see 'Splash' by Beau Han Xu who's jewellery collection explores a splash on the skin in diamonds and crystals. The shows on until Sunday 29th June so go along and finish off at the RCA bar!
